So my mom watches Survivor, and on this season the two tribes are split men against women, and the two camps are on the same beach. There’s this one dude who is flamboyantly gay and makes a point of hanging out with the women all the time because he’s Only Friends with Girls etc etc, and and he just said “I’m a Republican, not a Democrat, I don’t believe in handouts” and I’m just like… REALLY? You’re gay, all your friends are women, and you’re a proud Republican? Do you not want equal rights for yourself and your friends or are you happy dealing with bigotry in all aspects of your life? Is any fiscal conservatism worth dealing with the social bullshit the Republican Party is waving around?
